Bergey is charged with tracking rare Oklahoma invertebrates.
Current projects include describing the state distribution
of crayfishes and documenting the faunas of springs and caves.
She is also developing a biology outreach program for undergraduates
to interact with elementary students.

Amy Buthod conducts floristic surveys throughout the state
and works with rare plants for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife
Service’s Section 6. She also manages the collections
of the Robert Bebb Herbarium.

Conservation Specialist

Priscilla Crawford coordinates the Oklahoma Natural Areas Registry. She encourages landowners to conserve Oklahoma's biological diversity by becoming members of a voluntary land preservation association. She also manages the Oklahoma Vascular Plants Database.

As plant ecologist for ONHI, Bruce
Hoagland works to identify and catalog the vegetation
cover types in Oklahoma. He has also worked extensively on
floristic inventories throughout the state.

Jeff
Kelly conducts surveys and inventories of vertebrates
of Oklahoma, collects records of occurrence for species tracked
by the ONHI, and uses these data to evaluate conservation
potential of sites in Oklahoma.
